Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi / Nakuru
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be greeted by a representative from Travel Waves Safaris. Depending on your arrival time, you will either be transferred to your city hotel or embark on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park in the late morning. This internationally renowned animal sanctuary is particularly notable for its thriving populations of both black and white rhinos. Check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the evening, embark on a game drive and take a leisurely walk along the lake's shores to observe the diverse birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.Day 2: Nakuru / Naivasha
After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, savor the sights and sounds of the park. Take a further drive within the park and then depart in the late morning for the nearby Lake Naivasha. Check in at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge or Sopa Lodge. Relax at the lodge and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, visit Crescent Island, where you can take a guided walk to spot animals such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Lake Naivasha is also known for its rich birdlife within the lodge grounds. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.Day 3: Naivasha / Masai Mara
Start the day with an early breakfast and embark on a drive to the iconic Masai Mara. Arrive at the park and have lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive to track elephants, leopards, cheetahs, lions, and buffaloes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.Day 4: Masai Mara
Indulge in an early morning breakfast before setting off on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
